Biography

My interest in health and fitness started about 12 years ago, when I decided to overhaul my own lifestyle in order to lose weight, gain confidence and get myself fitter.

With no real experience of health and fitness behind me, I set about experimenting with different forms of fitness to see what worked for me, what I enjoyed and what I could stick to. Through this process I developed a keen interest in running, high intensity interval training and anything that made me feel that I had really worked hard! Along the way I lost 5 stone and spent my spare time reading about fitness and learning about nutrition.

As my interest and passion for the industry grew, in 2014 I decided that a career change was in order and moved from Operations Manager of a Recruitment Company into my new role as a PT - a decision that I am thankful for every day. Being able to share my real-life experience as well as passion for creating a fitter, stronger and more often that not, happier version of my clients, is what drives me every day.

Having worked in a different industry prior to being a PT enables me to understand that my clients' lives are not purely dedicated to 'health and fitness' and often real-life gets in the way of making the right choices. Therefore I always try and provide sensible and practical advice, guidance and suggestions as to how my clients can reach their goals.
